New limited edition watches combine Scandinavian elegance with some of the most beloved Moomin characters

Nordgreen focuses on creating high-quality watches with a timeless design, and that’s exactly what the new collection is all about! The new Moomin watches combine functionality with a Moominous aesthetic and will surely be treasured pieces to be passed on to future generations.

The Moomin watches come in three different designs. Which one would suit your style the best – the metal one with the carefree Snufkin, a silver-coloured watch with the curious Moomintroll, or a rose gold watch with the fiery Little My?

The 36mm watches have a simplistic white dial with a small Moomin character and a stylish mesh strap, making them the perfect accessory to wear every day. The watches go well with all kinds of outfits and suit both for work and more festive occasions. 

The watches are made in a limited number, and each watch is numbered.

The watches bring together two Nordic brands

Jansson’s graphic executions fit perfectly with the Scandinavian elegance of the Philosopher by Nordgreen – and just like philosophers, each character depicted has a unique disposition and outlook on life.

Focus on the characters’ traits

Choosing the three characters for the watches was done in a surprising way: “I actually chose Little My, Snufkin and Moomintroll based upon the characters in the Nordgreen Brand team. The team hasn’t realised that yet”, Lowth laughs.

The illustrations on the watches highlight each Moomin character’s personality: “The choice of specific illustrations was based on the idea that we wanted to portray the characters in different postures. This would both enhance their personalities and look good in the context of a watch face.”

The novelties are a lovely addition to every Moomin fan’s jewellery box! Lowth says that he hopes that the watches will bring a smile to the owner’s lips every time they look at their wrist – and we are confident they will!
