The invisible child
Ninny appears in Tove Jansson’s story The Invisible Child, part of the book Tales from Moominvalley, but has in addition to the book reached and touched many through the animated Moomin series.
Ninny is a child who was once visible but has become invisible because she has been mistreated by a relative. She is brought to the Moomin family by Too-ticky, who hopes the family will make Ninny visible again. The family approaches Ninny with warmth and curiosity and little by little, she becomes visible again.

The Season introduces a new visual style unlike anything seen before in Sky. Players take on the form of a butterfly, guiding Ninny on her journey from a monochrome world back to vibrant color. As the story unfolds, this emotional tale of healing, growth, and renewal resonates deeply, restoring color to Ninny and the peaceful world of Moominvalley.
Throughout the season, players can interact with their favourite Moomin characters like Moomintroll, Snufkin, and Little My, as well as explore new areas inspired by Moominvalley. They will have the chance to unlock themed items that capture the Season of Moomin — outfits inspired by the Moomin characters, capes, hairstyles, an instrument, and more.
